Make Indianapolis Count in 2010
Once every decade, the states, cities and people of the United States have a chance to stand and be counted. When it comes to funding, our representation in Washington, D.C., health and human services and much more, the Census counts. In 2010 make Indianapolis count, too!
The City of Indianapolis created the Complete Count Committee to increase awareness and participation in the 2010 Census. Spearheaded by Mayor Gregory A. Ballard and led by some of Indy’s foremost leaders including Amos Brown of Radio One and Steve Smith of the Indiana Health Care Association, the Complete Count Committee works to increase awareness and ultimately participation in the 2010 Census. The City of Indianapolis would like to thank Congressman Andre Carson for his support in this effort. The role of everyone in Indianapolis to stand and be counted in the Census is critical to ensure proper services, funding and more are delivered to the people of Indianapolis. The Census counts – in 2010, make Indianapolis count, too.
All you have to do is count yourself, but if you want to do more, click here to learn about volunteer opportunities or here to contribute to the CCC’s effort.
